Last Wednesday, 9 November at Sydney’s Town Hall, Stefano Manfredi supported the Australian Chamber Orchestra in raising much needed funds for their National Education Program.

The Le Dolce Vita Gala Dinner saw Stefano prepare an Italian feast of roast calamari stuffed with prawns and grilled lamb shoulder with poached peaches and cherries with polenta crumbs for dessert. Each course was matched with a Peter Lehmann varietal with Lanson Black Label Champagne also on offer.

Guests were entertained by Chris Taylor of The Chaser and enjoyed a special performance of Italian repertoire by Richard and the ACO.

A luxury George Jensen raffle was held with all proceeds supporting the ACO’s National Education Program. The program sees the ACO work with disadvantaged primary school children in Sydney, including an intensive week-long training program known as the ACO Academy for talented secondary school string players, providing free concerts for children who are economically or geographically disadvantaged as well as workshops for young people with disabilities.
